Forgot How To Blog :)

Wow! I can't believe I haven't gotten on here for a year and a half! A lot has happend in that time. February 2012: Matt quit Cerner and took a job with Pentax Medical. The company is based out of NJ but he gets to work from home! He still travels here and there, but it is so nice having him working from home. March 2012: We decided to put our house on the market. We needed more space and Matt needed an office. We searched and searched for the "right" home for us, but we were not having any luck finding anything. Then our next option was to find land and build. We were having a hard time finding land we liked and started to think we wouldn't find anything! Then we found a house that was under construction. It only had the the framing done on the inside so we could still customize everything else for our liking. We bought it a couple months later and then our journey for building a house started. Thankfully Matt and I have the same taste and agreed on mostly everything. It was a hetic, crazy summer with house showings, decisions for the new house and Matt traveling. It was a very challenging summer to say the least. August 2012: OUR HOUSE SOLD!!! October 2012: Our new house was done and ready to move in! January 2013: We took our anual trip to FL to see my dad and Barb. The girls had a great time and did great on the plane. March 2013: Matt and I got to take a nice vacation.. just the two of us!!! Cancun! We did go with some good friends of ours and Matt's brother and girlfriend were there for a couple with us too. We had great weather the whole week. We had a great time! April: We celebrated Avree's 5th birthday at the beginning of the month! I can't believe she is FIVE!!!! She has been so excited to be 5 years old. Avree also had her FIRST dance recital the weekend of her birthday. She loved dance this year and she was so cute at her recital! Emme and mom getting ready for Avree's recital. Em had wanted to wear her leotard and tu-tu :) Well that pretty much (briefly) sums up what has been going on with us. I am really going to try and stay up to date with blogging :)
