I've Been Slacking

It has been such a long time since I last made a post, but now that I got my own computer (Thank you for my Christmas gift Matt) I can stay on top of blogging. What we have been up too: Avree started Kindergarten in the fall and is loving it. She goes all day, every day.. Long day! She has been learning to read and write/sound out things which is so amazing to see/hear her. She is very excited to move on and go to 1st grade :) She has been doing dance this year and did basketball in the winter. She LOVED basketball and can't wait to start back up again. Emmersen started PDO (Parent's Day Out) at our church preschool program and goes 2 full days a week. So nice to have 2 days to myself :) She is so full of energy and the stuff she comes up with is so fun to watch. Her mind is always going and processing things. She has a great imagination. Emmersen has also started dance this year and loves it! She just got her recital costumes and wants to wear them all the time! Hopefully she will actually do her dances for recital. The girls also have some very exciting, and big news :)

September is the due date and Emmersen is very excited as it is very close to her birthday :) We already had our "big ultrasound" and baby wasn't positioned right to see gender. Which I was actually glad we couldn't find out. I wanted to wait a while before revealing gender (Matt did not) and now we have no choice but to wait.. I won ;) We talked about going in for a 3d/4d ultrasound July/Aug and then maybe find out. But we will be happy with whatever gender we get. Another girl would be the easiest but we will take whatever :) Just hope its healthy!!! Avree wants a little brother and Emme wants a little sister.. House divided.
